Candles and Open Flames

Per Indiana Fire Code, open flames are not allowed in residence halls and congregate housing. This does not include private, off-campus housing.

Indiana Fire Code 308.4.1: Candles, incense, and similar open-flame–producing items shall not be allowed in sleeping units in Group R-2 dormitory occupancies.
