CAMPE is working for fundamental research combining chemists specializing in synthesis, theoreticians specializing in molecular modeling, spectroscopists and specialists of instrumentation. The team undertakes research in chemistry and molecular physical chemistry, focusing on the CEA's major programs new technologies for energy, the nanosciences, and chemistry for health and the environment.
The chemists and biologists of the CIBEST team use complementary approaches to understand the mechanisms involved in the human and environmental toxicity of physical or chemical agents.
The CREAB team develops its research activities at the interface between physics-chemistry-biology with two principal axes the conception, the development and the use of biosensors and/or biochips - the conception, the development and the use of bio-inspired and bio-hybrid architectures using biopolymers like DNA and its analogues, DNA origamis, etc.
STEP is an interdisciplinary team comprising chemists, physico-chemists, electrochemists and physicists. His objectives are the control of molecular architectures and complex functionalities, the design of novel performing materials as well as the description and understanding of their physical phenomena at all pertinent length scales.
CEA is a French government-funded technological research organisation in four main areas: low-carbon energies, defense and security, information technologies and health technologies. A prominent player in the European Research Area, it is involved in setting up collaborative projects with many partners around the world.
