A new Research Administration System is on its way
The new Research Administration System (RAS) is a database and approvals mechanism designed for intuitive, efficient research administration.
It will replace (amongst other things) the use of Costing and Consents Worksheets (CCWs) for budgeting and gaining research grant approvals.
What you need to know about implementation
- Research and Enterprise, Finance Advisory, and those with responsibility for approvals (e.g. Heads of Departments, Deans and Pro-Vice-Chancellors) – implementation is planned for late October-early November 2024.
- Researchers – implementation is planned for late November-early December 2024, with most new users introduced to the system for the next Marsden Fund round in February 2025.
