Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (S) "Service Sector Productivity in Japan: Determinants and Policies (SSPJ)" (FY 2016-2020, Principal Investigator: Professor Kyoji Fukao) received the (A) rating in the term-of-end evaluation from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. The rating (A) means that the results were in line with initial expectations.
The Joint Usage and Research Center Programs at the Institute of Economic Research received the highest (S) rating in the term-of-end evaluation from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology following the mid-term evaluation in 2008. In addition, the Institute was newly accredited for the period from April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2028.
