Programme Overview

Students are expected to customize their curricula by choosing one of the four educational tracks:

  • Applied Economics Track (general trajectory)
  • Research in Economics Track (research trajectory)
  • Quantitative Methods in Economics and Finance Track (general trajectory)
  • Economic and Financial Behavior (research trajectory)

Procedures of students’ assignment to academic tracks for 24/25 

1. Applied Economics Track (Firms and Markets, Public Sector, and Economic Policy)

Scientific Supervisor: assisstant professor Timur Natkhov

Language: either Russian or English (knowledge of Russian language is not required)

2. Research in Economics Track

Scientific Supervisor: Olga Kuznetsova, assistant professor with the Department of Theoretical Economics.

Language: English (knowledge of Russian language is not required).

For students enrolled in 2023 the track is divided into two groups: "Micro-and Macroeconomics" (supervisor: Olga Kuznetsova) and "Behavioral Economics" (supervisor - Alexis Belianin).
