Stefan Schäfer is responsible for the numbers at Hamburg Institut and, with over 20 years of experience, is a true controlling expert. He is responsible for finance, controlling and the processing of third-party funds.
Professional experience & qualification
Before joining Hamburg Institut in 2016, Stefan Schäfer had already worked in various professional positions – from universities to the private sector. In 2019, he left Hamburg Institut on a temporary basis to work in third-party funding management at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, but returned to us three years later. In the meantime, he was still in charge of controlling the grant projects.
