Learning objectives

Students get skills about design and building LANs, link redundancy using HSRP and VRRP, link aggregation based on EtherChannel. Students will configure VLAN networks using managed switches and routers. They will configure OSPF routing for IPv4 and IPv6 networks.
The second part of the course deals with WAN technologies. In the labs, students will configure ACL filtering, NAT translation, and VPN tunnels. They will learn how to monitor network using SNMP, NetFlow a Syslog and how to implement network management. The course covers CCNA Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation (ENSA) course version 7. This course prepares students to an industrial certification CCNA.

Recommended prerequisites

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Successful completion of the courses CCNA ITN (Introduction to Networks) and CCNA SRWE (Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials) version 7.
