Among the top children's hospitals for care in the country, Boston Children’s Hospital is also the largest research center for pediatric health. We find solutions others can't. This would not be possible without philanthropic support from our community. Join our mission to give every child a healthy future. Participate in an event, create a fundraiser, volunteer or donate. Your generosity benefits hospital programs, promising research and life-saving care for children locally and around the globe.

Volunteer

We presently have a diverse, trained group of more than 300 individuals who selflessly devote thousands of hours each year to support the hospital staff and our patients and families. Whether playing with children during wait times or helping families find their way in the halls, the volunteers at Boston Children's make a difference, providing a special human connection that often eases the stress for patients and families going through difficult times.

Donate blood

The Boston Children's Blood Donor Center is an independent collection facility, serving the needs of pediatric patients in the Longwood Medical Area. Established in 1958, primarily to provide fresh blood for the new field of open-heart surgery, we now supply virtually all of the blood and blood products used at Boston Children's.
