At XLCloud, we’re a young start-up based in Karlsruhe, Germany. We’re currently seeking a motivated student who is proficient in German or English to join our team as an AI Engineer. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our developers to support the creation of cutting-edge application.

Role overview:
We are seeking a talented and dedicated AI Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will work on enhancing our Large Language Model (LLM)-based services and applications, with a core focus on tuning, optimizing, and scaling our LLM systems, apply data ingestion and prompt engineering techniques to improve the overall responsiveness and use insights gained from user interactions to improve overall user experience and drive product performance.

Key responsibilities:
• Tune and improve our LLM-based services and applications
• Develop new features and integrate them into our codebase
• Stay updated on LLM advancements and evaluate new techniques for improvement

What we’re looking for:
• A passion for AI technology and a proactive approach to learning
• Ability to bring ideas and solutions to the table
• Proficiency in German or English
• Student status and availability for internship or student job
