Directions to Campus

Georgetown University’s main campus is located in Northwest D.C. at the intersection of 37th and O Streets. Residing in a city provides numerous transit options, and we strongly encourage visitors to take public transportation when making their way to the Hilltop. Please note that, due to high traffic and congestion in the Georgetown area, parking can be difficult. We recommend visitors to utilize parking garages in the Georgetown neighborhood, as the University itself has extremely limited parking. For this reason we encourage guests with mobility limitations to be dropped off at the Front Gates of the University at 37th and O Street, prior to parking.

Taxi — Given that DC residents rely heavily on public transportation, taxis are plentiful. Please instruct your driver to take to you the Front Gates of Georgetown University, located at 3700 O St., NW.Popular taxi services include the following:

Springfield Taxi (703) 451-2255

Guests can choose from two Circulator lines: Dupont Circle – Georgetown – Rosslyn line or the Georgetown – Union Station line. Please see DC Circulator’s website for more details.

Walking — If you wish to walk to campus, the sidewalks around Washington D.C. are very accessible and easy to navigate. View a general map of the Northwest section of Washington, D.C. with Georgetown’s campus highlighted.
