Primals in Japan

So who wants to break down who all of these are/where they came from?

We cover most of them, but it looks like some of the info might be in conflict with what we have? --Monzo 00:59, 17 June 2011 (EDT)

Clockwise:
  • Clear Convoy - Toys"R"Us (Japan) exclusive, July, 1998
  • Burning Convoy - Released along with Flash Lio Convoy when the film Lio Convoy in Imminent Danger! premieres
  • Blue Convoy - Contest prize for Comic BomBom May, 1998, only 30 pieces are available.
  • Red Convoy - Exclusive for TV magazine as presents (possibly as Lucky draw items), only 20 pieces are available.
  • Gold Convoy - Contest prize for Comic BomBom March, 1998, only 10 pieces are available.
  • Grey Convoy - Standard edition (Or say, standard edition for Japanese release)
  • Black Convoy - Early-released edition in July, 1997. (It seems this one is as same as the original version in America and Europe.)

One More bit of Bat-Toy Trivia

I dropped a bit into the notes-section about how the Bat-Toy is the original inspiration of the "Prime Jets" in the cartoon, with the original concept being that Primal and Meggs would quad-change between both sets of robot and beast forms. I KNOW this was mentioned by Bob (possibly Larry, but I recall it being Bob) at one of the early BotCons, I think '98, but I can't recall with enough accuracy to reference a specific year. Anyone else remember this tidbit? --Destrongerlupus 15:33, 1 May 2013 (EDT)

MP Paint Problems

So I've noticed with my MP Primal that its surprisingly easy to scratch the paint off. I'm not sure if this is a wide spread problem, but I think its worth mentioning.

Titans Return "toy"

I thought we didn't do full entries for unreleased figures who have no physical evidence; Titans Return Optimus Primal belongs in "Notes". S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 21:24, 26 February 2018 (EST)

It was done here so I did it for Primal and Toraizer. -west james/notirishman (talk) 23:01, 26 February 2018 (EST)

Picture caption issue.

Ok, simply put, on the first picture of him in his gorilla form it says this: "Yes, missiles come out of his butt.", but in the description it clearly states otherwise. Now, I don't know if that's a joke I'm not getting, or someone having been misinformed, or what, but I do know this, that should be changed, to litterally anything else, as I'm sure that I'm not the only one that's been confused by that. Which, by the way, has been that way for a few years. Beetle Bug (talk) 16:34, 3 August 2021 (EDT)

A) Stop overthinking captions or demanding it be changed because you don't get it. It's fine to not get a joke. B) His robot mode shoulder missile launchers make up his butt in beast mode. Saix (talk) 17:29, 3 August 2021 (EDT)
Ok, you're right. That was wrong of me, I shouldn't have demanded that. I'm sorry. Also, which ones? Because when I was looking at it, it appears as though two are in his left arm, and the other two are on his sides, like that weird part of the human body that goes from the shoulder blades on down. I know that this is a lot to ask, but do you have picture that shows it? Oh, by the way, I know that it's ok not to get a joke, my point was moreso towards the "potential misinformation" factor than the "I don't get the joke" factor. I'm stating that in case there was/is anyconfusion by you or anyone else that reads this. Beetle Bug (talk) 21:55, 3 August 2021 (EDT)
Please use Google (or links on this wiki) to verify what toys look like if pictures here aren't clear. It will be faster than you constantly asking questions and waiting for an answer. Saix (talk) 01:26, 4 August 2021 (EDT)
Yeah, you're right. I don't know why I didn't to begin with. I'll keep that in mind for next time. Beetle Bug (talk) 01:58, 4 August 2021 (EDT)
