Identity is pretty much settled at this point

Some pals and I were goofin' around online when we started riffing on this page. Now that I actually look at the notes, though, its continued existence is kind of obscene. To paraphrase each of them:

• "He could be Ultra Magnus! Note: John Warden said it is not Ultra Magnus."
• "John Warden ALSO said he was essentially Ginrai, and that he goes on your chunky Optimus shelf."
• "It has Ginrai as a partner according to the Titan Master Crunch collector sheet! It could also be Ginrai, or the transtector who is also also called Ginrai."
• "Some pre-release info suggested there was going to be a blue guy called 'Magnus Prime (Super Ginrai)'!"

I've got a hankering for some shipshaping, but I know if I just do it someone will complain, so checking in here before I go ahead. Sky Shadow (talk) 14:36, 15 August 2021 (EDT)

Fully agree that this is an odd page, because the facts aren't really "competing" at all. A toy that plainly started life as a Delta Magnus/Magna Convoy thing but was then just swapped out for Ginrai when that mold became a thing. The fictional ins and outs of the character (namely that he probably is two separate guys rather than a guy and a transtector) are irrelevant—heck, they're just on the same level as every other western reinterpretation of a Japan-original character.
