I have ALWAYS seen this Romanized "Corahda". Move? --M Sipher 09:58, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

I have no objections. I was doing these things pretty rapid-fire, the other day. --DrSpengler 16:50, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

...was that Chorada in Universe? I seem to recall he was a generic. (The only generic on the council, possibly due to whoever was coloring the comic being stymied by a Japanese toy... but a generic nonetheless.) Of course- I never sat down and did a side-by-side, I could be wrong. -Derik 06:46, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

He was in the Council and there was one of him. --ItsWalky 06:49, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
Oh good, you uploaded a picture to proove my point, thank you Walky!
Lets see... chorada has a bronze helmet, a gray-white face, a green body (with a green snake-head) and eggshell-colored arms.
The High Counciler has... a black helmet, a green face, a purple body with a black snake-head, and green arms!
Different character. Thanks Walky! -Derik 07:05, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

Dubious name claim

So... yeah. I don't buy that it's supposed to be "Colada". A "rhinoxing" of "cobra" seems way way way more likely. --M Sipher 21:57, 27 July 2009 (EDT)

The dude has definite conquistador and Mesoamerican visual influences. I'm not how a Spanish word for his name is out of the question. —Interrobang 22:14, 27 July 2009 (EDT)

Title of page

Since BWU gave us the spelling "Corahda" in an English work last year, should we move this page to that spelling? S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 16:35, 13 June 2016 (EDT)

"Cohrada" is an English spelling from the Sourcebook. --Sabrblade (talk) 17:01, 13 June 2016 (EDT)
I know. I was referring to how "Corahda" seems to be the preferred spelling among fans with experience in Japanese. See above on this page. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 17:03, 13 June 2016 (EDT)
Yes, but "Cohrada" was the first official English spelling and remained as such for nearly a decade before the "Corahda" spelling appeared in Uprising. The Wiki tends to go with first and/or most prominent names. Either way, though, as the Notes section states, the name was most likely intended to be "Colada", so had the Uprising wanted to change the name, it's pretty weird that it didn't go with the obvious intent behind the name. --Sabrblade (talk) 17:10, 13 June 2016 (EDT)
