Neutral Territories
From Transformers Wiki
With war being the most secure factor in Cybertron's long history, one would almost forget "neutral" doesn't have to refer to the absence of an insignia. The Neutral Territories are called as they are because the domain serves as a free settlement zone and trading quadrant to the Cybertronian population.[1] The area is bordered by Uraya, Altihex, Kalis and possibly Protihex, Praxus or both.

As the Border Wars commenced, Shockwave agreed to discuss suspicions of outside manipulation of all factions with Jetfire if he'd accept to meet him in the Neutral Territories. Devastation He did, but before they could put their gathered data to use, they were attacked by the members of the Chaos Trinity. Shockwave was soon defeated and Jetfire subdued to be brought to The Fallen. Despite the success, Bludgeon expressed disappointment Grimlock, another of their targets, hadn't shown up as he had planned by leaking information of Jetfire's unauthorized meeting with Shockwave to the LSC commander. Grimlock, who had been delayed by his Dinobot teammates, revealed himself then as he opened attack on the Chaos Trinity. When he was done with them, rather than helping Jetfire, he attacked him too as he still considered him a traitor.
Before he could finish Jetfire, The Fallen entered the battlefield Revelation and took him out. Taking the unconscious bodies of Jetfire and Grimlock with him, the Fallen ordered the Chaos Trinity to get their act together and move to Iacon to get the next target. Confrontation

During the war for Cybertron, the Borderlands was one of the largest neutral sectors on Cybertron, acting as a border between the Autobot and Decepticon regions. Both factions would often contest eachother to claim the landmass as their own. The Autobot Air Guardian, Jetfire, had been dispatched to the location in the final days of the ongoing war. The sector was eventually captured by the Decepticons, leaving Cybertron with very few neutral sectors. Siege Teletraan-1 Data Files
