Nana-nana-nana-nana, Bat-Bull!

Noctorro might be a cantankerous old geezer—one of the oldest Maximals in existence, as a matter of fact—but age hasn't slowed him down in the least. If anything, he's only grown more reckless and hot-headed in his advanced age. His years of experience have guided him toward one conclusion: to act first and think later. When Noctorro swings into action, any indecisive young punk standing around in his presence is sure to earn them a good old-fashioned tongue-lashing.

Noctorro's short temper, coupled with great strength, make him a very dangerous opponent, and he uses his horns and claws in an unorthodox hand-to-hand fighting style. His wrist-mounted generators can fire bolts of energy from his claws. In spite of his reputation as a sore-headed coot, Noctorro does have an understanding side. He's tried to reach out to the gloomy young Maximal Jawbreaker, but his efforts in tutoring the young 'bot have yet to yield results.[1]

Noctorro was one of the protoforms jettisoned from the Axalon on prehistoric Earth. He was activated and put in chronal phase by Razorbeast at Magmatron's request, but was protected from Magmatron's Predacon shell-program by Razorbeast's viral code. Soon after awakening, he joined up with K-9, Bantor, Stinkbomb, Armordillo, and Torca. During their journey to meet up with Razorbeast, Torca got stuck in some mud, and Noctorro and the others helped free him. After following Razorbeast's signal for days, and picking up more Maximals along the way, Noctorro and the rest rushed into battle against Magmatron's Predacons. The Maximals won that altercation, and awaited rescue from Cybertron. The Gathering

When the Predacons launched an all-out assault, Noctorro could be found in the thick of things, doing his best to push the tide in the Maximals' favor. But after Rartorata arrived and infected Razorbeast with Angolmois, Noctorro put his best efforts into both containing the berserk Maximal and helping to defeat the giant Blendtron. Noctorro returned to Cybertron on the Pack's transwarp cruiser and led an aerial attack against Shokaract, which resulted in his nearly-immediate and violent death. The Ascending #4

Beast Wars: Uprising

A low-class worker in Glibax, Noctorro one day found himself accosted by Polar Claw and Snarl of the Maximal Command Security Force, who charged him with breaking an obscure and inconsequential law against looking at one's own reflection for over 90 nano-kliks. Witnessing this scene, the passing by Lio Convoy decided to stand up against oppression and confronted the two guards, giving Noctorro the chance to sneak away. Broken Windshields

Yes, father... I shall become a bat and a bull.
  • Noctorro (Basic Fuzor, 1998)
Part of the second wave of third-year Beast Wars Basics, Noctorro's beast mode is a combination of bat and Brahman bull (a breed created by humans). The resulting monstrosity looks nothing short of demonic. His transformation is notable for being very basic.
He features a spring-loaded gimmick: The wing segments protruding from his mid-section can be pulled back and locked into place. By pressing a button on his back, they revert to their default position, creating a flapping/swiping motion. Although still functional in robot mode, this gimmick is more effective in beast mode.
