Originally a lectureworld, Ofsted XVII was taken over by Curricula, the Galactic Council's academic arm, and turned into a smartplanet™, which mostly meant the charging of tuition fees. Twenty Plus One The Lost Light was in orbit around the planet, when the D.J.D. attacked it, slaughtering the crew and shattering the ship into pieces. slaughterhouse 17 months later, there was subsequently a battle over the ship between the Galactic Council and the Black Block Consortia, which the D.J.D. also got involved in. The Council and Consortia joined forces to overwhelm the D.J.D., forcing Tarn to leave Vos and Kaon behind on the planet's surface. The planet was left damaged by the battle, and visiting Autobots would later think somebody had deliberately bombarded the campuses. Births, Deaths, and Interventions The Permanent Revolution
Some time later, when a quantum duplicate Lost Light began disappearing, the survivors headed towards Ofsted XVII in shuttles, though only the Rodpod would make it, carrying a small number of crew who had not been aboard the Lost Light's maiden voyage. The Rodpod's crew found the broken Lost Light still orbiting the planet and leaking quantum foam. slaughterhouse The foam continued to spread, potentially endangering Ofsted XVII because of the worn-down nature of the surrounding space: a result of the previous battle around the ship. Thanks to the heroic actions of Rewind and Megatron, the quantum generators were shut down and the foam dissipated, saving the planet. The Road Not Taken
Meanwhile, several of the Lost Light crew encountered the still-living D.J.D. members Vos and Kaon on Ofsted XVII itself. It did not go well for the Autobots. Births, Deaths, and Interventions

Notes
- This planet is a reference to Ofsted, the British government department in charge of inspecting schools. The charging of tuition fees (and the disparaging remarks people make about it) is a reference to the introduction of these fees for British universities, which has been controversial on the left.
