When Rodimus mass-broadcast his intentions to hold Earth hostage with the Global Orbiting Defense Satellite he had hijacked, the transmission even came over Sephie's oPod and Rick's cell phone.

Later, when formulating a plan to deal with the matter, Sephie recognized Rodimus had been transmitting from a military base, so Professor Arkeville suggested that Heatwave use his ability to talk with machines to find out which base had been taken over. After hearing that Arkeville wanted to create a dial-up modem and radio out of spare parts for the purpose, Sephie offered up the use of her oPod as being a more practical alternative. In an attempt to turn Blitzwing on to listening to music, Will installed an oPod loaded with his personal selection of rock and metal tunes into the Decepticon's systems. When Blitzwing was electrocuted in a fight with Wheeljack not long afterwards, it fused together the oPod and the Autobots' communications protocols he had stolen, giving him the ability to broadcast Will's music over the Autobot emergency channel. The Decepticons were initially pleased with Blitzwing's new non-lethal offensive capabilities, though Blitzwing himself missed the quiet. However, the fusion mutated over time, until Blitzwing was broadcasting uncontrollably even over the Decepticon channel, and growing to potentially deadly power levels.

Fortunately, the Decepticons were eventually able to extract the device before Blitzwing could irreparably damage everyone. Sephie and Soundwave noted that they were going to develop a different music player Blitzwing could rock out to safely, but Blitzwing decided he'd rather stick to talk radio. Blitzwing Bop
