When the Lost Light comes under threat, a group of Autobots and Decepticons must try to work together!
Contents |
Synopsis
The starship Lost Light is attacked by unknown forces while exploring a distant planet. Nightbeat and Windblade investigate and encounter a team of Decepticons—Jhiaxus, Ravage, Sky-Byte, and Tankor—but it turns out they're on the same mission to find the mysterious attacker. Uniting, the combined team fights off the attackers, who turn out to be the Ammonites. However, the spirit of cooperation soon breaks down, and the Autobots and Decepticons turn on each other. Nightbeat and Windblade manage to overcome the Decepticon team, and return to the Lost Light to report on the demise of the Ammonites, while the Decepticons return to their own starship, disappointed at their loss to the Autobots.

Notes
- This is a raid event.
- The Lost Light hails from IDW Publishing's The Transformers: More than Meets the Eye comic. Perhaps not coincidentally, chapter 4 of Dark Cybertron was also titled "Into the Abyss" and featured the Lost Light crew encountering the Ammonites on a distant planet.
- Despite the story taking place in space, the card art depicts a battle in a human city on Earth.
- Windblade's profile is heavily IDW influenced, noting her role as a Cityspeaker and the fact she hails from Caminus.
- Sky-Byte's profile notes that he reluctantly sides with the Decepticons due to an existing rivalry with an Autobot, but doesn't specify who.
- Also, be advised he doesn't have any cool theme song or spout out haiku in this episode. Which is a shame.
