Impactor is an evil Autobot from the Shattered Glass continuity family.

One of the earliest recruits to the brutal Autobot strike team that would soon be known as the Wreckers, Impactor was present for Orion Pax's initial presentation of the team to future commander Ultra Magnus, though his tenure would prove quite short-lived.

Soon after Ultra Magnus's promotion, the team encountered Senator Shockwave, and decided to chase away reporters Laserbeak and Flashbox who had been hounding him. Impactor stood by at first as Shockwave tore into his leader, but decided things had gone too far when Shockwave turned on the rest of them and insultingly referred to the team as a band of rabid DeathEagles. He charged forward and roughly grabbed Shockwave, threatening him and trying to tell Magnus to make the Senator stand down. This rash course of action, along with a final barb from teammate Kup, caused Ultra Magnus to snap. He picked Kup off the ground and hurled him at Impactor, merely dazing the former but leaving the latter with severe upper body damage, including both of his optics being displaced from their proper positions. After Shockwave stormed off and Ultra Magnus calmed enough to answer Wheeljack's question regarding Impactor, the Wrecker leader chose to abandon the damaged Autobot and removed him from the team roster.

When later questioned about this decision by Orion Pax, Ultra Magnus justified his decision in part by bringing up multiple prior offences by Impactor of this very nature. Shattered Glass II #1

Notes

• Impactor's body is modeled on the Siege Deluxe Class Impactor figure, with an inverted color scheme. Incidentally, it does bear some resemblance to the Generation 2 color scheme of his positive universe buddy Megatron.
