Located on Troja Major, the Howling Town is, in Lug's words, "the greyest of grey markets". Everything imaginable is bought, sold, and bartered there. No questions asked.

Recently, it's been discovered that the Howling Town is built on a spiritual ley line, causing a market shift towards funerary practices, rebranding itself as the "bereavement capital of the galaxy." If you want a prosperous afterlife, arrange for your corpse to be brought here.

One of the Architect's agents in his quest to create the ultimate Cybertronian was the Catharsian Mengel, who contacted him in 2017 to inform him that she'd succeeded, prompting him to send his agent to Howling Town to collect his prize while also sending out a summons for any blacksmiths so as to tie up loose ends. After leaving Necroworld, After Megatron the femmes aboard Team Rodimus simultaneously visited the Howling Town to try and acquire a new map to Cyberutopia from Agonizer. Lug expressed her displeasure at how the town had changed over the centuries.

The blacksmith summons was responded to by Scammer, Rocket, and Wipe-Out, but the latter was late, sparing him from being murdered with the other two. Wipe-Out soon reunited with Anode and Lug, only for the three to be cornered by the Grand Architect's troops. An Axe to Break the Ice After making a few brisk getaways, the femmes left Howling Town at the same time that the Architect's troops departed with the Infinite and the added bonus of the Magnificence. Following her run-in with Flame, Mengel began to fear for her life and fled to Agonizer. The two compared notes on the Magnificence, with Agonizer realizing the Cybertronian history behind the relic. The Black Block Consortia eventually caught up to the Catharsian and claimed her life while Agonizer made plans to steal the Magnificence. The Ties That Bind Via teleportal, Agonizer summoned the Scavengers to the Howling Town, accidentally bringing Nickel along. Journey's End Nickel noticed the town's weather had taken a turn for the worse, with the hail being on fire and the background radiation redlining. Agonizer explained this was due to the ley line they were on was starting to warp as a result of the old order being on maneuvers. No one had any idea what that meant, however. The Ties That Bind

After escaping Scorponok's Worldsweeper, Grimlock found himself adrift in space, where he was picked up by First Aid and Riptide, who had escaped the Lost Light. As the trio made their way to Howling Town to seek medical aid for the injured Thunderclash, they caught Grimlock up on events, and he readily offered his aid. Upon arrival, the group repaired their comrade and chartered a Q-Class ship from Wipe-Out to track down the Lost Light while leaving the Firstborn with Agonizer. A Dance Before Dying
