Brian Augustyn

Brian Augustyn (November 2, 1954 - February 1, 2022) was a prolific writer who has worked for a variety of publishers, including DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Dark Horse Comics, and now-defunct publisher Dreamwave Productions (where he worked on such titles as Mega Man and Hasbro-owned property Duel Masters). He was a member of a group called The Pack, a network of comic book veterans who work jobs together.
Augustyn passed away from a stroke at age 67 on February 1, 2022.
