The Genesis Ninja Gaiden is a beat-'em-up loosely based on the arcade game. Glitches aside, it's rather lackluster overall, which could've been why it was cancelled.

Level Select Cheats

When you pause the game, the number of the current area will appear in place of the timer. Press Left or Right to select an area and press A to go there.

Alternatively, press C with the game paused to skip to the next area. This will also play the end-of-round cutscene if applicable.

Incomplete Music

The ending song cannot normally be heard in its entirety, as the game cuts to the Sega logo about 15 seconds before it ends. It also has a loop, even though the ending never gets to that point.
