Sybil Venetia Taylor was the daughter of Captain John Vickris Taylor and Sybil Mary Hopkinson.2,3 She married, firstly, Mark Everard Pepys, 6th Earl of Cottenham, son of Kenelm Charles Edward Pepys, 4th Earl of Cottenham and Lady Rose Nevill, on 19 January 1927.4 She and Mark Everard Pepys, 6th Earl of Cottenham were divorced in 1939. She married, secondly, Charles Christopher Courtenay, 17th Earl of Devon, son of Reverend Frederick Leslie Courtenay, 16th Earl of Devon and Marguerite Silva, on 29 July 1939.3 She died in November 2001.3

Marguerite Silva was the daughter of John Silva.1 She married Reverend Frederick Leslie Courtenay, 16th Earl of Devon, son of Henry Reginald Courtenay, Lord Courtenay and Lady Evelyn Pepys, on 9 January 1907.1 She died on 4 May 1950.1

Thomas Howard, 2nd Earl of Effingham was born in 1714.1 He was the son of Francis Howard, 1st Earl of Effingham and Diana O'Farrell.1 He married Elizabeth Beckford, daughter of Peter Beckford and Bathsuba Hering, on 14 February 1744/45.1 He died on 19 November 1763.1
