Mary Hazel Caridwen Scott-Ellis, Baroness Howard de Walden was born on 12 August 1935 at London, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of John Osmael Scott-Ellis, 9th Lord Howard de Walden and Irene Gräfin von Harrach.2,1 She married Count Joseph Czernin, son of Count Franz Joseph Theodor Ottokar Maria Czernin and Wilhelmine Clanner von Engelshofen, on 20 November 1957.1 She died on 13 July 2024 at age 88.3
Mary Hazel Caridwen Scott-Ellis, Baroness Howard de Walden usually went by her middle name of Hazel.2 Her married name became Czernin. In 1999 she became the coheiress presumptive with her three younger sisters to abeyant Barony of Howard de Walden.2 She lived in 2003 at White Oak House, Highclere, Newbury, Berkshire, England.2 She succeeded as the 10th Baroness Howard de Walden [E., 1597] on 25 June 2004, after the abeyance was terminated.1

He was the son of Count Franz Joseph Theodor Ottokar Maria Czernin and Wilhelmine Clanner von Engelshofen.1 He married Mary Hazel Caridwen Scott-Ellis, Baroness Howard de Walden, daughter of John Osmael Scott-Ellis, 9th Lord Howard de Walden and Irene Gräfin von Harrach, on 20 November 1957.1 He died on 13 April 2015.2
