Sir Eric Clare Edmund Phipps and Frances Ward.¹ She married, firstly, George Anthony Cary, son of Joyce Cary, on 23 July 1949.¹ She married, secondly, Professor Donald Struan Robertson, son of Henry Robert Robertson, on 23 August 1956.¹ She died on 11 December 2009 at age 84.²
     From 23 July 1949, her married name became Cary. From 23 August 1956, her married name became Robertson. She lived in 2003 at 2 Richmond Road, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹

     George Anthony Cary was the son of Joyce Cary.¹ He married Margaret Ann Phipps, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Eric Clare Edmund Phipps and Frances Ward, on 23 July 1949.¹ He died on 9 January 1953.¹
