     Sir Charles Doughty was born in 1878 at Scarborough, Yorkshire, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Charles Doughty and Emma (?)2 He married Alison McKeand Addison, daughter of John Edmund Wentworth Addison and Alice Pilling McKeand, on 31 July 1901 at London, EnglandG.2 He died in 1956.3
     He was appointed Queen's Counsel (Q.C.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lincolnshire.3

     She was awarded the Kaisar-i-Hind Silver Medal.1 She was a missionary nurse at India.1

Lady Matilda Stewart1

     Lady Matilda Stewart was the daughter of Robert Stewart, 1st Marquess of Londonderry and Lady Frances Pratt.1,2 She married Michael Edward Ward, son of Colonel Hon. Robert Ward and Sophia Frances Whaley, on 14 September 1815.1 She died on 3 October 1842.1
     From 14 September 1815, her married name became Ward.1
