     Admiral Sir William Lowther Grant was born in 1864 at Portsea, Hampshire, England.3,4 He was the son of William Grant and Sophia Bridger.4 He was baptised on 9 December 1864 at St. Thomas, Portsmouth, Hampshire, England.4 He married Mabel Emily Brodrick, daughter of Rev. Hon. Alan Brodrick and Emily Hester Melvill, on 12 January 1892.1 He died on 30 January 1929.1
     He was commissioned in 1877, in the service of the Royal Navy.4 He fought in the Egyptian War in 1882.4 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900.4 He was Naval Advisor to the Army Council between 1902 and 1904.4 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM King Edward VII between 1908 and 1909.4 He was Assistant to the Director of Naval Intelligence between 1908 and 1909.4 He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in 1910.4 He was commanding officer of the 6 and 3 Cruiser Squadrons between 1914 and 1915.4 He was Commander-in-Chief of the China Station between 1916 and 1917.4 He held the office of Commander-in-Chief between 1918 and 1919, North America and West Indies Station.4 He retired from the military in 1920.4 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1

     Lt.-Col. Hugh Gildart Worsley was the son of Lt.-Col. Henry Gildart Worsley.1 He married Dorothea Mary Brodrick, daughter of Rev. Hon. Alan Brodrick and Emily Hester Melvill, on 22 July 1914.1 He died on 7 February 1968.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1

     Captain Hubert Charles Paulet Hamilton was born on 24 January 1915.2 He was the son of Hubert Charles Hamilton and Honoria Eliza Sylvia Vera Blackley.3 He married, firstly, Margaret Helen Williams-Wynn, daughter of Sir Owen Watkin Williams-Wynn, 8th Bt. and Daisy Houghton, on 23 July 1941.2 He and Margaret Helen Williams-Wynn were divorced in 1950.2 He married, secondly, Katharine Frances Dobbs, daughter of William Evelyn Joseph Dobbs, on 22 September 1950.2 He died on 16 August 2007 at age 92.
     Captain Hubert Charles Paulet Hamilton usually went by his middle name of Paul.1 He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England.2 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.2 He was commissioned in 1936, in the service of the Royal Irish Fusiliers.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Irish Fusiliers.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.2 He was mem General Synod of C of I from mem Rep Church Body 1959-72 (Kildare Street Club) in 1948.2 He lived at Moyne, County Laois, Ireland.4

Ursula Lutyens

     Ursula Lutyens was born in 1904.1 She was the daughter of Sir Edwin Landseer Lutyens and Lady Emily Bulwer-Lytton. She married Matthew White Ridley, 3rd Viscount Ridley, son of Matthew White Ridley, 2nd Viscount Ridley and Hon. Rosamond Cornelia Gwladys Guest, on 13 October 1924.2 She died on 28 December 1967.1
     From 13 October 1924, her married name became Ridley. After her marriage, Ursula Lutyens was styled as Viscountess Ridley on 13 October 1924. She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1953.2 She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2

     Sir Edwin Landseer Lutyens was born on 29 March 1869.1 He was the son of Captain Charles Henry Augustus Lutyens and Mary Theresa Gallwey.2 He married Lady Emily Bulwer-Lytton, daughter of Edward Robert Bulwer-Lytton, 1st Earl of Lytton and Edith Villiers, on 4 August 1897.3 He died on 1 January 1944 at age 74.1
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Indian Empire (K.C.I.E.)3 He held the office of President of the Royal Academy.3 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.)3 He was an architect.1 He was awarded the Order of Merit (O.M.)3
