Nicola Shulman is the daughter of Milton Shulman and Drusilla Beyfus.1,2 She married, firstly, Edward St. Aubyn, son of Roger St. Aubyn and Lorna Mackintosh, in 1987.1 She and Edward St. Aubyn were divorced in 1990.1 She married, secondly, Constantine Edmund Walter Phipps, 5th Marquess of Normanby, son of Oswald Constantine John Phipps, 4th Marquess of Normanby and Hon. Grania Maeve Rosaura Guinness, in 1990.1
From 1987, her married name became St. Aubyn.1 Her married name became Phipps. After her marriage, Nicola Shulman was styled as Marchioness of Normanby in 1994. She wrote the book A Rage For Rock Gardening, published 2002.2
