     Cynthia Mary Trench-Gascoigne was born on 6 February 1898.1 She was the daughter of Colonel Frederick Richard Thomas Trench-Gascoigne and Laura Gwendolen Douglas Galton.1 She married Arthur FitzGerald Sandys Hill, 6th Lord Sandys, Baron of Ombersley, son of Captain Arthur Blundell George Sandys Hill and Helen Emily Trench, on 10 April 1924.1 She died in 1990.1
     Her married name became Hill.

     Laura Gwendolen Douglas Galton was the daughter of Sir Douglas Strutt Galton and Mary Anne Nicholson.1,2 She married Colonel Frederick Richard Thomas Trench-Gascoigne, son of Colonel Frederick Charles Trench-Gascoigne and Mary Isabella Oliver-Gascoigne, on 16 February 1892.1 She died on 10 July 1949.1
     Her married name became Trench-Gascoigne. She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1918.1 She was appointed Dame of Justice, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.J.St.J.)1

Sir Douglas Strutt Galton1

     Sir Douglas Strutt Galton was born on 2 July 1822.2 He was the son of John Howard Galton and Isabella Strutt.2 He married Mary Anne Nicholson, daughter of George Thomas Nicholson and Ann Elizabeth Smith, in 1845 at St. Andrew, Farnham, Surrey, England.3 He died on 10 March 1899 at age 76.2
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1

     Richard Michael Oliver Hill, 7th Lord Sandys, Baron of Ombersley was born on 21 July 1931.1 He was the son of Arthur FitzGerald Sandys Hill, 6th Lord Sandys, Baron of Ombersley and Cynthia Mary Trench-Gascoigne.2 He married Patricia Simpson Hall, daughter of Lionel Hall, on 16 September 1961.1 He died on 11 February 2013 at age 81.3
     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Darmouth, Devon, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant between 1950 and 1955 in the Royal Scots Guards.1 He succeeded as the 7th Lord Sandys, Baron of Ombersley, co. Worcester [U.K., 1802] on 24 November 1961.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Worcestershire in 1968.1 He held the office of Chief Whip, House of Lords between 1974 and 1979.1 He held the office of a Lord in Waiting between January 1974 and March 1974.1 He was Captain, Yeomen of the Guard between 1979 and 1983.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)1 He lived in 2003 at Ombersley Court, Droitwich, Worcestershire, England.1

Hon. Richard Chenevix Trench and Hon. Frances Mary Trench, on 16 February 1871.1 He died on 16 June 1923 at age 86.2
