     Robert Andrew Inskip, 2nd Viscount Caldecote was born on 8 October 1917.1 He was the son of Thomas Walker Hobart Inskip, 1st Viscount Caldecote and Lady Augusta Helen Elizabeth Boyle.2 He married Jean Hamilla Hamilton, daughter of Rear-Admiral Hugh Dundas Hamilton, on 22 July 1942.1 He died on 20 September 1999 at age 81.1

     Her married name became Inskip. After her marriage, Jean Hamilla Hamilton was styled as Viscountess Caldecote on 11 October 1947.
