     Caroline Louisa Evans was the daughter of Eyre Evans and Anna Maunsell.² She married Lt.-Col. James Ogilvy-Grant, 9th Earl of Seafield, son of Colonel Francis William Ogilvy-Grant, 6th Earl of Seafield and Mary Anne Dunn, on 6 April 1841.¹ She died on 6 February 1850.¹
     From 6 April 1841, her married name became Ogilvy-Grant.

     Francis William Ogilvy-Grant, 10th Earl of Seafield was born on 9 March 1847.² He was the son of Lt.-Col. James Ogilvy-Grant, 9th Earl of Seafield and Caroline Louisa Evans.² He married Ann Trevor Corry Evans, daughter of Major George Thomas Evans and Louisa Barbara Corry, on 24 November 1874.³ He died on 3 December 1888 at age 41.³

     Ann Trevor Corry Evans was born on 9 March 1847.^2,3 She was the daughter of Major George Thomas Evans and Louisa Barbara Corry.³ She married Francis William Ogilvy-Grant, 10th Earl of Seafield, son of Lt.-Col. James Ogilvy-Grant, 9th Earl of Seafield and Caroline Louisa Evans, on 24 November 1874.¹ She died on 16 October 1935 at age 88.¹
     Ann Trevor Corry Evans also went by the nick-name of Nina.¹ From 24 November 1874, her married name became Ogilvy-Grant. After her marriage, Ann Trevor Corry Evans was styled as Countess of Seafield on 5 June 1888.

     Major George Thomas Evans was born on 17 December 1809.¹ He was the son of Eyre Evans and Anna Maunsell.² He married Louisa Barbara Corry, daughter of Trevor Corry, on 19 January 1841.¹ He died on 16 October 1898 at age 88.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 47th Regiment.¹

     Louisa Barbara Corry was the daughter of Trevor Corry.² She married Major George Thomas Evans, son of Eyre Evans and Anna Maunsell, on 19 January 1841.¹ She died on 7 January 1890.¹
     From 19 January 1841, her married name became Evans.

     Trevor Corry lived at Newry, County Armagh, Ireland^G.¹

     James Ogilvie-Grant, 11th Earl of Seafield was born on 18 April 1876.¹ He was the son of Francis William Ogilvy-Grant, 10th Earl of Seafield and Ann Trevor Corry Evans.¹ He married Mary Elizabeth Nina Townend, daughter of Joseph Henry Townend and Harriet Cox, on 22 June 1898 at St. Barnabas, Fendalton, Christchurch, New Zealand^G.³ He died on 12 November 1915 at age 39 at France, from wounds received in action.¹
     He succeeded as the 11th Lord Ogilvy of Cullen [S., 1698] on 3 December 1888.¹ He succeeded as the 11th Viscount of Seafield [S., 1698] on 3 December 1888.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Strathspey of Strathspey, counties Inverness and Moray [U.K., 1884] on 3 December 1888.⁴ He succeeded as the 15th Baronet Colquhoun, of Luss [N.S., 1625] on 3 December 1888.⁴ He succeeded as the 11th Earl of Seafield [S., 1701] on 3 December 1888.¹ He succeeded as the 11th Lord Ogilvy of Deskford and Cullen [S., 1701] on 3 December 1888.¹ He succeeded as the 11th Viscount of Reidhaven [S., 1701] on 3 December 1888.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Canterbury Yeomanry Cavalry, New Zealand Forces.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Banffshire and Inverness-shire.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Mary Elizabeth Nina Townend was born on 1 August 1876 at Christchurch, New Zealand^G.² She was the daughter of Joseph Henry Townend and Harriet Cox.^1,2 She married James Ogilvie-Grant, 11th Earl of Seafield, son of Francis William Ogilvy-Grant, 10th Earl of Seafield and Ann Trevor Corry Evans, on 22 June 1898 at St. Barnabas, Fendalton, Christchurch, New Zealand^G.² She died on 22 January 1962 at age 85.¹
     Mary Elizabeth Nina Townend usually went by her middle name of Nina.¹ From 22 June 1898, her married name became Ogilvie-Grant. After her marriage, Mary Elizabeth Nina Townend was styled as Countess of Seafield on 22 June 1898.

     Joseph Henry Townend was born on 21 June 1847 at Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England^G.^2,3 He married, firstly, Harriet Cox on 23 October 1875 at St. Peter's Church, Riccarton, Christchurch, New Zealand^G.¹ He married, secondly, Annie Quayle Moore, daughter of George Henry Moore and Anne Kermode, on 15 September 1900 at St. Barnabas, Fendalton, Christchurch, New Zealand^G.¹ He died on 11 July 1902 at age 55 at Christchurch, New Zealand^G.¹
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)⁴ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)⁴ He lived at Christchurch, New Zealand^G.⁴
