Synolda Emily Thursby-Pelham was the daughter of James Augustine Harvey Thursby-Pelham and Alice Farquhar.1 She married, firstly, Major Sir Robert James Milo Walker, 4th Bt., son of Captain Sir James Heron Walker, 3rd Bt. and Violet Maud Cecil Ives, on 5 June 1913.1 She and Major Sir Robert James Milo Walker, 4th Bt. were divorced in 1922.2 She married, secondly, Colonel Sir William Edmund Jaffray, 4th Bt., son of Sir William Jaffray, 2nd Bt. and Alice Mary Galloway, on 3 May 1923.1 She married, thirdly, Guy Argles after 1936.1 She and Colonel Sir William Edmund Jaffray, 4th Bt. were divorced in 1936.1 She died on 27 June 1975.1

Captain Sir James Heron Walker, 3rd Bt. was born on 23 May 1865.2 He was the son of Sir James Robert Walker, 2nd Bt. and Louisa Susan Marlborough Heron-Maxwell.3 He married Violet Maud Cecil Ives, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Cecil Robert St. John Ives and Hon. Susan Ann Talbot, on 12 June 1889.2 He died on 25 November 1900 at age 35.2
He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, Hampshire Regiment.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Walker, of Sand Hutton, co. York [U.K., 1868] on 12 June 1899.2

Sir John Shaw Heron-Maxwell of Springkell, 4th Bt. and Mary Heron.2 He married Caroline Stewart, daughter of Hon.
