     Captain Edward Foley was born on 29 October 1807.2 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Richard Foley and Dorothy Lodwick.2 He married Elizabeth Fanny Cuming, daughter of John Cuming and Elizabeth Bligh, on 21 May 1850.2 He died on 28 September 1894 at age 86.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1

     Sir Francis Milman, 1st Bt. was born on 31 August 1746 at East Ogwell, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Reverend Francis Milman and Sarah Dyer.1,2 He married Frances Hart, daughter of William Hart and Francis Miles, on 20 July 1779.3 He died on 24 June 1821 at age 74 at The Grove, Pinner, London, EnglandG.1
     He graduated from Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1764 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1767 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He graduated from Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1770 with a Bachelor of Medicine (B.Med.)1 He was a physician between 1771 and 1779 at Middlesex Hospital, London, England.3 He graduated from Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1776 with a Doctor of Medicine (D.Med.)1 He inherited the estate of his uncle John Dyer, of Levaton.3 He was appointed Fellow, College of Physicians, London in 1778.1 He graduated from Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1778 with a Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.)3 He held the office of Physician extraordinary to the King's household in 1785.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)1 He gained the title of 1st Baronet Milman, of Levaton-in-Woodland, co. Devon [Great Britain] on 28 November 1800.1 He held the office of Physician in ordinary to the King in 1806.1 He held the office of President of the College of Physicians, London between 1811 and 6 October 1813.1

Eva Mary FitzHardinge Milman, Baroness Berkeley1

     Eva Mary FitzHardinge Milman, Baroness Berkeley was born on 4 March 1875.1 She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Gustavus Hamilton Lockwood Milman and Louisa Mary Berkeley, Baroness Berkeley.1 She married Lt.-Col. Frank Wigram Foley, son of Captain Edward Foley and Elizabeth Fanny Cuming, on 5 August 1903.1 She died on 4 December 1964 at age 89.2
     She succeeded as the 16th Baroness Berkeley [E., 1421] on 10 December 1899, by writ, suo jure.1 Her married name became Foley. She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1920.2
     On her death, the Barony of Berkeley fell into abeyance between her two daugthers until 5 April 1967.2

     She was given the name of Mary Lalle Foley at birth.1 In September 1951 her name was legally changed to Mary Lalle Foley-Berkeley by Deed Poll.1 She succeeded as the 17th Baroness Berkeley [E., 1421] on 5 April 1967, by writ, suo jure.1
