Laura Lushington was born on 24 July 1829 at Calcutta, IndiaG.2 She was the daughter of Sir Henry Lushington, 3rd Bt. and Eliza Louisa Trower.3 She married General Hon. Sir Henry Ramsay, son of Lt.-Gen. Hon. John Ramsay and Mary Delise, on 11 November 1850.3 She died on 29 July 1914 at age 85.3

Sir Henry Lushington, 3rd Bt. was born on 10 October 1802.2 He was the son of Sir Henry Lushington, 2nd Bt. and Fanny Maria Lewis.2 He married, firstly, Eliza Louisa Trower, daughter of William Trower, on 26 March 1825. He married, secondly, Eliza Hannah Shelley, daughter of John Shelley, on 17 June 1863.2 He died in September 1897 at age 94.2
He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England.2 He was in the Honourable East India Company Service.2 He was with the Bengal Civil Service between 1821 and 1852.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hertfordshire.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Lushington, of South Hill Park, Berkshire [G.B., 1791] on 25 January 1863.2 He held the office of Judge [North-West Province].2

Captain Richard Hanmer Bunbury was born on 18 December 1813.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Henry Edward Bunbury, 7th Bt. and Louisa Amelia Fox.1 He married Sarah Susanna Sconce, daughter of Robert Clement Sconce, on 19 December 1838.1 He died on 23 December 1857 at age 44.1
