     Sir John Hastings James was the son of Clement Fletcher James.1 He married, firstly, Lady Ann Florence Vernay Cole, daughter of John Henry Michael Cole, 5th Earl of Enniskillen and Irene Frances Mundy, on 5 July 1935.1 He and Lady Ann Florence Vernay Cole were divorced in 1950.1 He married, secondly, Lady Marioth Christina Hay, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Lord Edward Douglas John Hay and Violet Florence Catherine Barclay, on 2 April 1963.2 He and Lady Marioth Christina Hay were divorced in 1971.2 He died in 1980.2
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.)1 He was Deputy Master and Comptroller of the Royal Mint.2 Sir John Hastings James also went by the nick-name of Jack.2

Henry Ivan Hanmer was born on 5 February 1893.2 He was the son of John Hanmer and Constance Catherine Busby.2 He married, firstly, Margaret Florence Mary Warrand, daughter of Reverend Henry Kenneth Warrand, on 5 August 1937.2 He married, secondly, Lady Frances Jane Cole, daughter of John Henry Michael Cole, 5th Earl of Enniskillen and Irene Frances Mundy, on 10 July 1954.1 He died on 1 June 1984 at age 91 at Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England.2,3
     He fought in the First World War.2 He was awarded the Order of the Nile.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.) and bar.1 He gained the rank of Group Captain in the Royal Air Force.1

     John Hanmer was born on 27 November 1854.1 He was the son of Reverend Henry Hanmer and Sybella Elizabeth Gordon.2 He married Constance Catherine Busby, daughter of Alexander Busby, on 26 August 1890.1 He died on 17 April 1936 at age 81.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent.1
