Mabel Sophia Henniker was the daughter of Sir Bridges Powell Henniker, 4th Bt. and Justina Louisa Hughan.1 She married, firstly, Colonel Edward George Godolphin Hastings, son of Hon. Edward Plantagenet Robin Hood Hastings and Caroline Sarah Morris, on 1 July 1882.1 She married, secondly, Charles Robert Southwell Dimsdale, 7th Baron Dimsdale, son of Robert Dimsdale, 6th Baron Dimsdale and Cecilia Jane Southwell, on 2 April 1891.2 She died on 13 December 1942.1
From 1 July 1882, her married name became Hastings. From 2 April 1891, her married name became Dimsdale.

Colonel Edward George Godolphin Hastings was born on 29 January 1842.1 He was the son of Hon. Edward Plantagenet Robin Hood Hastings and Caroline Sarah Morris.2 He married Mabel Sophia Henniker, daughter of Sir Bridges Powell Henniker, 4th Bt. and Justina Louisa Hughan, on 1 July 1882.1 He died in December 1884 at age 42.1

Charles Robert Southwell Dimsdale, 7th Baron Dimsdale was born on 4 June 1856. He was the son of Robert Dimsdale, 6th Baron Dimsdale and Cecilia Jane Southwell. He married, firstly, Alice Monk. He married Mabel Sophia Henniker, daughter of Sir Bridges Powell Henniker, 4th Bt. and Justina Louisa Hughan, on 2 April 1891.1 He died on 6 December 1928 at age 72.1

Hon. Edward Plantagenet Robin Hood Hastings was born on 12 August 1818.1 He was the son of Hans Francis Hastings, 12th Earl of Huntingdon and Frances Cobbe.2 He married Caroline Sarah Morris, daughter of G. J. Morris, on 12 December 1840.1 He died on 17 October 1857 at age 39.1

Hans Francis Hastings, 12th Earl of Huntingdon was born on 14 August 1779.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. George Hastings and Sarah Hodges.2 He married, firstly, Frances Cobbe, daughter of Reverend Richard Chaloner Cobbe and Sarah Burslem, on 12 May 1803.2 He married, secondly, Eliza Mary Bettesworth, daughter of Joseph Bettesworth, on 28 September 1820.2 He died on 9 December 1828 at age 49.1
He was educated at Repton School, Repton, Derbyshire, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Bettesworth's Academy, Chelsea, London, EnglandG.2 He was commissioned in 1793, in the service of the Royal Navy.2 He fought in the Battle of Quiberon Bay in 1795, where he was wounded.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1799.2 He was Ordnance Barrack Master at Isle of Wight, EnglandG.2 He was Ordnance Storekeeper between 1808 and 1817 at Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, IrelandG.2 On 29 October 1818 he successfully claimed the Earldom of Huntingdon.2 He succeeded as the 12th Earl of Huntingdon [E., 1529] on 14 January 1819.2 He gained the rank of Commander in 1821.2 He held the office of Governor of Dominica between 1822 and 1824.2 He gained the rank of Post Captain in 1824.2

Frances Cobbe was the daughter of Reverend Richard Chaloner Cobbe and Sarah Burslem.1,2 She married Hans Francis Hastings, 12th Earl of Huntingdon, son of Lt.-Col. George Hastings and Sarah Hodges, on 12 May 1803.1 She died on 31 March 1820.1
