     Sir Thomas Willans Nussey, 1st Bt. was born on 12 October 1868.¹ He was the son of Thomas Nussey and Helen Dodgson.^2,1 He married, firstly, Edith Daniel, daughter of Edward MacManus Daniel, on 7 October 1897.¹ He married, secondly, Edith Maud Cliff, daughter of William Dewhirst Cliff, on 20 February 1935.¹ He died on 12 October 1947 at age 79.¹
     Sir Thomas Willans Nussey, 1st Bt. usually went by his middle name of Willans.¹ He graduated from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1893 entitled to practise as a barrister-at-law.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Pontefract between 1893 and 1910.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the North Riding, Yorkshire.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Nussey, of Rishwood Hall, in the parish of Kirklington, co. York. [U.K.] on 26 July 1909.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of the North Riding, Yorkshire.¹

     Edith Daniel was the daughter of Edward MacManus Daniel.¹ She married Sir Thomas Willans Nussey, 1st Bt., son of Thomas Nussey and Helen Dodgson, on 7 October 1897.¹ She died on 24 January 1934.¹
     From 7 October 1897, her married name became Nussey.¹

     Edward MacManus Daniel lived at Fleetwood, Lancashire, England.¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹

     Edith Maud Cliff was the daughter of William Dewhirst Cliff.¹ She married Sir Thomas Willans Nussey, 1st Bt., son of Thomas Nussey and Helen Dodgson, on 20 February 1935.¹ She died on 11 April 1962.¹
     She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.¹ From 20 February 1935, her married name became Nussey.¹

     From 28 November 1941, her married name became Nussey.¹

     Benjamin Talbot lived at Solberge, Northallerton, Yorkshire, England.¹

     Thomas Nussey was born on 7 November 1818.¹ He was the son of George Nussey and Sarah Willans.² He married Helen Dodgson, daughter of John Dodgson, on 5 September 1865.² He died on 11 November 1909 at age 91.¹
