     Sir Percival Victor David, 2nd Bt. was born on 21 July 1892.1 He was the son of Sir Sassoon Jacob David, 1st Bt. and Hannah Sassoon.1 He married, firstly, Vere Moselle David, daughter of Abraham David and Katie Shellim, on 26 January 1913.1 He and Vere Moselle David were divorced in 1953.1 He married, secondly, Sheila Jane Yorke Hardy, daughter of Arthur Yorke Hardy, on 15 October 1953.1 He died on 9 October 1964 at age 72.2
     He was educated at Elphinstone College, Bombay University, Bombay, India.1 He graduated from Bombay University, Bombay, India, in 1909 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet David, of Bombay [U.K., 1911] on 27 September 1926.1 On his death his baronetcy became extinct.2

     Sir Sassoon Jacob David, 1st Bt. was born on 11 December 1849.1 He was the son of Jacob Isaac David and Mozelle Masleah.1 He married Hannah Sassoon, daughter of Elias David Sassoon, on 30 January 1876.1 He died on 27 September 1926 at age 76.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Bombay.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Bombay in 1905.1 He was appointed Knight on 14 November 1905.1 He was founder and chairman of the Bank of India.1 He was created 1st Baronet David, of Bombay [U.K.] on 12 December 1911.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Star of India (K.C.S.I.)1 He held the office of Member of Council of the Viceroy of India.1 He held the office of President of the Bombay Municipality between 1921 and 1922.1
