James Cecil Corballis was born on 24 September 1891.1 He was the son of James Frederick Joseph Corballis and Sybil Musgrave Beadon.2 He married Ada Marie Flynn, daughter of Joseph John Flynn, on 15 January 1918.1 He died on 28 May 1947 at age 55.1

Lt.-Col. Basil Joseph Corballis was born on 14 August 1896.1 He was the son of James Frederick Joseph Corballis and Sybil Musgrave Beadon.2 He married Ruth Patricia Chubb, daughter of Frederick William Chubb, on 14 January 1926.1 He died on 31 May 1966 at age 69 at The Yeatman Hospital, Sherborne, Dorset, England, without issue.1,3 His will was proven (by probate) on 7 September 1966.3
He was educated at St. Stephen's Green School, Tonbridge, Kent, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1916.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur in 1945.1 He retired from the military in 1946, with the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel, late of the l3rd Somerset Light Infantry.1
