Professor Hugh Redwald Trevor-Roper, Baron Dacre of Glanton was born on 15 January 1914.2 He was the son of Bertie William Edward Trevor-Roper and Kathleen Elizabeth Davidson.2 He married Lady Alexandra Henrietta Louisa Haig, daughter of Field Marshal Douglas Haig, 1st Earl Haig and Hon. Dorothy Maud Vivian, on 4 October 1954.3 He died on 26 January 2003 at age 89.1

Rear-Admiral Clarence Dinsmore Howard-Johnston was born on 13 October 1903.2 He was the son of John Howard-Johnston and Dorothy Florence Baird.1 He married, firstly, Esmé Muriel Fitzgibbon, daughter of Philip John Fitzgibbon and Ruth Mary Hearn, on 28 June 1928 at St. John's, Southwick Crescent, Paddington, London, EnglandG.2 He married, secondly, Lady Alexandra Henrietta Louisa Haig, daughter of Field Marshal Douglas Haig, 1st Earl Haig and Hon. Dorothy Maud Vivian, on 10 June 1941 at St. Saviour's, Walton Street, Chelsea, London, EnglandG.1 He married, thirdly, Paulette Helleu, daughter of Paul César Helleu and Alice Louis-Guerin, on 3 June 1955 at Paris, FranceG.2 He and Esmé Muriel Fitzgibbon were divorced in 1940.2 He and Lady Alexandra Henrietta Louisa Haig were divorced in 1954.1 He died on 26 January 1996 at age 92.2
