Colonel Lancelot Mare Gregson was the son of Reverend Charles Gregson and Mary Edwards Noble.1,2 He married Lady Violet Anson, daughter of Thomas Francis Anson, 3rd Earl of Lichfield and Lady Mildred Coke, on 29 July 1912.1 He died on 7 November 1935.1
