Sir Gervase Elwes, 1st Bt. was born in 1628.1 He was the son of Sir Gervase Elwes and Frances Lee.1 He married Amy Trigge, daughter of William Trigge, on 2 March 1652.1 He died on 11 April 1706.1
He lived at Stoke College, Stoke by Clare, Suffolk, England.1 He was created 1st Baronet Elwes [England] on 22 June 1660.
