     John Hunter was born on 13 February 1728 at Long Calderwood, East Kilbride, Scotland.1 He married Anne Home, daughter of Robert Byrne Home and Mary Hutchinson, in July 1771.1 He died on 16 October 1793 at age 65 at London, England.1
     He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) in 1767.1 He wrote the book The Anatomy of the Gravid Uterus Exhibited in Figures, published 1774.1 He was Surgeon to King George III.1 He was awarded the Copley Medal in 1787.1 He held the office of Surgeon-General in March 1790.1

     Anne Home was born on 13 March 1742 at County Waterford, Ireland.1 She was the daughter of Robert Byrne Home and Mary Hutchinson.1 She married John Hunter in July 1771.1 She died on 7 January 1821 at age 78 at London, England.1
     She was a poet.1 From July 1771, her married name became Hunter.1

     Sir James Campbell of Killean, 2nd of Inverneill was born on 16 January 1737 at Tuerechan, Perthshire, Scotland.1,2 He was the son of James Campbell, 8th of Tearlach, 3rd of Tuerechan and Elizabeth Fisher.2 He married Jean Campbell, daughter of John Campbell of Askomi, on 16 July 1761 at Argyllshire, Scotland.1,2 He died on 16 March 1805 at age 68.1,2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for the Stirling Burghs.1 He held the office of Heritable Usher of the White Rod for Scotland in 1790.1 He held the position of 9th Chief of Clan Tearlach from in 1791.1

     Jean Campbell was born on 12 August 1740 at Askomil, Argyllshire, Scotland.2 She was the daughter of John Campbell of Askomi.1 She married Sir James Campbell of Killean, 2nd of Inverneill, son of James Campbell, 8th of Tearlach, 3rd of Tuerechan and Elizabeth Fisher, on 16 July 1761 at Argyllshire, Scotland.1,2 She died in 1805.1

     Jane Campbell was baptised on 27 June 1771 at Inverneill, Argyllshire, Scotland.1,2 She was the daughter of Sir James Campbell of Killean, 2nd of Inverneill and Jean Campbell.1 She married, firstly, Edward Addison on 29 April 1788.1 She and Edward Addison were divorced in 1801.1 She married, secondly, Roger Pocklington on 2 February 1802.1 She died on 27 February 1851 at age 79.1
     From 29 April 1788, her married name became Addison.1 From 2 February 1802, her married name became Pocklington.1
