     Robert Digby Mapletoft Brooke was baptised on 24 December 1779.1 He was the son of Colonel Robert Brooke and Anna Maria Mapletoft.1 He died on 13 April 1806 at age 26, unmarried.1
     He was with the Bengal Civil Service.1

     Isabella Hardwicke is the daughter of Edward Hardwicke.1 She married, firstly, James Patton before 1813.1 She married, secondly, Major James Henry Brooke, son of Colonel Robert Brooke and Anna Maria Mapletoft, on 23 January 1813.1
     From before 1813, her married name became Patton.1 From 23 January 1813, her married name became Brooke.1
