Sir Michael Warton was born circa 1648.1 He was the son of Michael Warton and Susannah Poulett.1 He died on 25 March 1725, unmarried.1
He was appointed Knight on 30 June 1666.1 He was educated at St. John's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Boroughbridge between 1675 and 1679.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Kingston-Upon-Hull between 1679 and 1681.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Beverley between 1689 and 1702.1 He held the office of Lord of Admiralty in 1689/90.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Beverley between 1708 and 1722.1
