Lt.-Col. Robin Otter was born on 7 April 1888. He was the son of Robert Charles Otter and Marianne Eva North. He married Mary Laura Troubridge, daughter of Admiral Sir Ernest Charles Thomas Troubridge and Edith Mary Duffus, on 26 February 1916.1 He died on 20 May 1965 at age 77.1
He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Norfolk Regiment.1
