     Margery Thornton was the daughter of William Thornton and Elinor Grimston.1 She married Anthony Chaytor, son of Christopher Chaytor and Elizabeth Clervaux, on 24 May 1591 at Stonegrave, Yorkshire, England.1 She died on 4 September 1613.1
     From 24 May 1591, her married name became Chaytor.1

     Jane Tempest was the daughter of Sir Nicholas Tempest, 1st Bt. and Isabel Lambton.1 She married Thomas Chaytor, son of Christopher Chaytor and Elizabeth Clervaux, after 1603 at Butterby, County Durham, England.1 She died in August 1666.1 She was buried on 1 September 1666 at St. Oswald's, Durham, County Durham, England.1
     Jane Tempest also went by the nick-name of The Star of Stella.1 From after 1603, her married name became Chaytor.1
