James Stewart Forbes and Feridah Frances Taylor.2 He married, firstly, Lady Penelope Anne Rous, daughter of John Anthony Alexander Rous, 4th Earl of Stradbroke and Barbara Grosvenor, on 19 June 1950.1 He and Lady Penelope Anne Rous were divorced in 1960.1 He married, secondly, Gunilla Ryman, daughter of Major Victor Ryman, on 19 May 1961.1 He died on 4 August 1992 at age 72.1,3
He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1942, where he became a POW.1 Commander.1 He held the office of Younger Brother of Trinity House.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)1
