     John Hamilton was the son of Reverend John Hamilton and Margaret Ballantine.¹ He married Mary Bogle, daughter of John Bogle of Hamilton Farm and Daldowie and unknown daughter Murdoch.¹ He died on 3 February 1780.¹
     He was Moderator of the General Assembly.¹

     William Hamilton of North Park was the son of John Hamilton of North Park and Helen Bogle.¹ He married Mary Orton Lucas in 1826.¹ He died in 1866.¹
