John Horsley Palmer1

     John Horsley Palmer was born on 7 July 1779.1 He was the son of William Palmer and Mary Horsley.1 He married Elizabeth Belli, daughter of John Belli and Elizabeth Stuart Cockerell, on 16 November 1810.1 He died on 7 February 1858 at age 78.1
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.1 He was director of the Bank of England between 1811 and 1857.1 He was Governor of the Bank of England between 1830 and 1832.1 He lived at Hurlingham, London, England.1

     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.1 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He held the office of Chief Justice of Madras between 1825 and 1835.1
